So excited to finally share our outdoor patio! For the past few months, we have been working on a Backyard makeover project. I shared our patio plans in a blog post a few weeks back and now the project is complete, I am so excited to share the space we’ve used the most in our new home! Since a lot of us are spending time in your backyard right now, I figured this would be the perfect time to share the pieces we chose and a few design tips for styling your outdoor patio space this season.
We knew from the beginning that we wanted a home with an indoor/outdoor living vibe and good flow. I wanted to make sure the outside areas felt welcoming for all the outdoor lounging and hosting. We didn’t want our home feeling too closed off, we wanted the transition from inside to outside to feel seamless!
We wanted a place where could have drinks with friends, dinner with the family, and lounge in the sun in between. Choosing the right outdoor patio furniture was the key part of creating our outdoor living space!
Dining Table
A dining table was at the top of our list when it came to outdoor furniture. We wanted a space where we could have dinner outside, and also have some extra seating when we invited friends over as well!
We went with this outdoor patio table from Safaveih and I can’t say enough good things about it! It seats up to eight people, so we have plenty of room for guests! Plus the table can be moved easily, so it’s great if we want to enjoy a meal in the sun.
Sectional
For the sitting area, we chose this sectional from Safaveih and it’s honestly my favorite part! We seriously sit in this area almost every single night! It’s designed so you can easily move parts of the couch to different spots for different occasions. I love how clean it looks with the matching glass-topped coffee table. We added in some cushions, an outdoor rug, and a side table to make it feel like a cozy living room.
Lounge Chairs
We chose these patio lounge chairs and they are so comfortable, you guys! I love how they match the rest of the decor. We pulled the look together with these outdoor accent pillows from amazon!
Accents
- I can’t recommend an outdoor rug more for adding some colors and texture to your patio. I love how it pulls together the whole space and adds a little pop of color!
- It gets SO HOT here in Texas and this outdoor umbrella has been a game-changer. It provides some extra shade when needed and looks so cute too!
